Role of the Committee
Promote volunteerism by encouraging students and other volunteers to take part in the NSS activities.
Provide adequate training to the volunteers to enable them to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
Implement various NSS programs such as environmental protection, health awareness, community service and other programs that benefit the society.
Monitor the activities undertaken by the volunteers to ensure that they are carried out as per the guidelines.
Develop partnerships with local, state and national organizations to further their cause of serving the community.
Create awareness about the NSS programs and activities among the public to encourage more people to volunteer.
